Sureshot Labs is the company building Ledgerless, the native payment infrastructure for AI agents and the machine economy, and Covenant, a hardware-enforced policy layer for autonomous agent wallets. Both protocols are open source. Both are designed from first principles for a world where most transactions happen between machines, not humans.
What we build
Ledgerless is a peer-to-peer payment protocol that places fund balances on tamper-resistant secure elements. Two devices can transact directly with no blockchain, no server, and no network. Settlement is instant, fees are zero, and double-spending is a physical impossibility.
Covenant is the policy enforcement layer on top of Ledgerless and on top of blockchain agent wallets. Spending limits, allowlists, rate limits, and approval requirements are signed into the secure element itself — agent software cannot bypass them.

Mission
AI agents are becoming the primary actors in the digital economy. They make payments today, hundreds of millions of them, on infrastructure designed for humans. That infrastructure imposes fees, latency, chargebacks, and software-only guardrails that a compromised agent can remove.
Our mission is to give the machine economy its own payment layer: one where settlement is hardware-enforced, autonomy is bounded by silicon rather than by software promises, and the only entities that need to trust each other are two chips standing next to each other.
